Time Domain Analysis Capability

Time Domain Analysis (TDA) precisely measures transmission line characteristic impedance and locates discontinuities or short circuits with spatial accuracy. It provides multiple processing options including time domain transform, windowing, coupling, markers, and gating. Additionally, the enhanced Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) function can generate eye diagrams through internal simulation without requiring an external pattern generator, enabling efficient waveform conformance testing. The eye diagram functionality facilitates intuitive analysis of noise, jitter, and intersymbol interference in signal transmission. TDR functionality finds extensive applications in PCB impedance testing, material performance evaluation, and transmission line quality assessment.
