Eye Diagram and Jitter Analyses

Eye diagram analysis is essential for evaluating signal integrity in high-speed systems. It reveals signal characteristics, which indicate the impact of intersymbol interference and noise, allowing users to assess system performance. Jitter analysis measures multiple jitter parameters of the signal and decomposes total jitter into individual components based on time interval error (TIE) data for measurement in the time and frequency domains. SIGLENT oscilloscopes with an 8 GHz bandwidth support eye diagram and jitter analyses in various test scenarios, such as low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) and Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) signal testing.

Protocol Conformance Analysis

SDS7000A supports conformance testing for protocols such as USB 2.0, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-T1, and 1000BASE-T1. These conformance testing capabilities help engineers validate electrical and functional performance before mass production, ensuring product quality and reliability. SIGLENT Technologies’ conformance analysis solution allows users to perform single-task or multi-task tests, guides users in connecting an oscilloscope to the device under test, automatically configures the oscilloscope for each task, displays details of executed tasks including pass/fail criteria, and generates test reports in the HTML or XML format.

High-resolution Oscilloscopes

SIGLENT high-resolution oscilloscopes feature a 12-bit vertical resolution, representing 4,096 quantization levels, which is 16 times that of conventional 8-bit oscilloscopes. In enhanced mode, the vertical resolution reaches 16-bit, reducing the quantization error for better waveform reproduction and more accurate parameter measurement. They are ideal choices for analyzing subtle signal variations of, for example, high-accuracy sensors, actuators, or fast laser pulses.

Digital Oscilloscopes

SIGLENT’s cost-effective digital oscilloscopes, covering bandwidths from 50 MHz to 1 GHz, leverage our analog frontend expertise developed for years and offer specialized features with vertical scales down to 500 μV/div, high sample rates, and fast refresh rates.

Handheld Oscilloscopes

SIGLENT handheld oscilloscopes are versatile tools that integrate functionalities of digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data loggers, including trend plotting and waveform recording.

Oscilloscope Probes

The oscilloscope probes support a wide range of signals from DC to 5 GHz, and utilize ultra-low noise design and intelligent compensation technology to accurately capture signals and help engineers efficiently overcome testing challenges.
